The 30th edition of the BWF World Championships is scheduled to take place in New Delhi from August 17 to 23, 2026. This marks the first time the tournament will be hosted in India in 17 years. The event will be held at the Indira Gandhi Arena.

The championship will feature competitions across five categories: men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles, and mixed doubles. The tournament schedule begins with opening rounds on August 17 and 18, followed by the Round of 32 on August 19, and the Round of 16 on August 20. Quarter-finals are set for August 21, semi-finals for August 22, and the final matches will conclude the event on August 23.

Several prominent Indian athletes are expected to participate, including PV Sindhu and Lakshya Sen in singles, and the doubles pair Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty.
