New Democracy launches major ministerial tour in Macedonia and Thrace

The New Democracy party has launched a massive mobilization across 16 prefectures in Macedonia and Thrace. This strategic tour involves approximately 40 officials, including 16 ministers, 3 deputy ministers, and 20 undersecretaries, aiming to highlight government achievements from the past seven years.

The initiative serves as a precursor to the upcoming elections and is designed to address regional concerns and prevent voter shifts toward right-wing competitors. Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis is scheduled to participate in events in Thessaloniki, Florina, and Kozani, including a speech on the ‘National Strategy for Regional and Local Development – Northern Greece’ at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.

Government members will visit various regional units, including Thessaloniki, Imathia, Kilkis, Pieria, Serres, Chalkidiki, Drama, Evros, Kavala, Xanthi, Rodopi, Grevena, Kozani, and Florina, to deliver positive news and engage with local populations ahead of the Thessaloniki International Fair (DEPO).
