New Democracy leads in latest Greek political opinion polls

Multiple recent opinion polls from firms including GPO, Marc, MRB, and Opinion Poll indicate that New Democracy (ND) maintains its lead in Greek political preferences. In terms of estimated vote share, ND consistently figures between 29% and 31%, followed by the Greek Left Symmachia (ELAS) at approximately 15.8% to 17.4%, and PASOK at roughly 10% to 13%.

Regarding actual voting intentions, ND holds a significant lead, often cited around 23% to 27%, while ELAS and PASOK follow. One notable trend across the polls is a split in public preference for the next government: approximately 49.6% of respondents favor a single-party government, even if it requires a second election, while 47.6% prefer a coalition government.

In terms of leadership suitability, Kyriakos Mitsotakis remains the most preferred candidate for Prime Minister, with support ranging from 23% to 30%, followed by Alexis Tsipras and Nikos Androulakis. The polls also assessed public reaction to economic programs presented at the IMF/IMF-related events, showing mixed satisfaction levels among the electorate.
