New developments announced in Zielona Góra and Tarnów
In Zielona Góra, a major new sports and recreation complex has opened in the Łężyca district. The facility, described by Mayor Marcin Pabierowski as the largest of its kind in the city, features an Orlik-style football pitch, courts for basketball and volleyball, a playground, a trampoline park, and a climbing tower shaped like a lighthouse. The project was completed by the company Mizar at a cost of approximately 8.6 million PLN, supported by funding from the Ministry of Sport and Tourism and European Funds for Lubuskie.
In Tarnów, plans have been unveiled for a massive 35,000-square-meter commercial park located near Lwowska Street. The development is expected to house nearly 30 retailers, including brands such as Lidl, CCC, Rossmann, and Media Expert. A notable feature of the complex will be a modern five-screen Cinema City multiplex, making it one of the first commercial parks in Poland to include a full-scale cinema. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027.
