New direct flights connect Galicia and Valencia

New direct flight routes have been established to connect Galicia and Valencia, significantly reducing travel time between the Atlantic and Mediterranean coasts. Starting in November, direct flights will operate from Santiago and A Coruña to Valencia, turning a journey that historically took weeks on foot via the Camino de Levante into a flight of approximately one and a half hours.

The connection links two regions with strong maritime identities and shared gastronomic cultures. The new routes also offer a seasonal advantage, as the milder Mediterranean climate in Valencia provides an alternative to the colder winter temperatures typically experienced in Galicia.
