New discount retailer enters Czech market in Ostrava

A new discount retail chain has opened its first store in the Czech Republic, located in the Karolina area of Ostrava. Positioned as a competitor to established chains such as Pepco and Action, the retailer offers a wide variety of household goods, including kitchenware, tools, toys, bathroom accessories, and textiles.

Initial pricing indicates a focus on low-cost items, with products such as sponges starting at 12 CZK, kitchen towels for 25 CZK, and bedding from 119 CZK. The 833-square-meter store provides items ranging from small household essentials to larger pieces like shoe racks and wardrobe organizers, aiming to allow customers to equip entire apartments at low costs.
