New England Patriots adjust roster ahead of Jaguars matchup

The New England Patriots are adjusting their roster ahead of their upcoming game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Head coach Mike Vrabel announced that safety Dell Pettus has been moved to injured reserve, which will sideline him for at least the next four games. To address roster needs, outside linebacker Jose Ramirez has been promoted to the 53-man roster. Additionally, special teamer Brenden Schooler has returned to practice following a stint on the non-football injury list.

In related news, the Jacksonville Jaguars have announced they will wear their Prowler throwback uniforms this Sunday against the Patriots. The team has also scheduled a second appearance of these uniforms for Week 14 against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The announcement has led to speculation regarding the potential return of the team’s all-black uniform combination later in the season.
