New England Patriots open New Balance Athletics Center

The New England Patriots have officially opened the New Balance Athletics Center, a 160,000-square-foot state-of-the-art training facility located adjacent to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough. The complex is designed to centralize team operations, including football offices, meeting rooms, and medical recovery departments that were previously scattered across the campus.

Key features of the facility include a 15,000-square-foot weight room, a 10,500-square-foot virtual reality room, advanced hydrotherapy pools, and dedicated tactical review auditoriums. The facility also houses a reinforced sports science wing aimed at mitigating injuries and accelerating player recovery.

Patriots owner Robert Kraft noted that the facility is the only one in the NFL with this amount of space dedicated solely to football, representing more than double the space the team previously utilized. While the team will continue to use their traditional locker room within Gillette Stadium on game days, the New Balance Athletics Center will serve as the primary hub for daily football operations and player development.
