New England Patriots and Miami Dolphins prepare for Week 8 divisional matchup

The New England Patriots (4-3) are set to face the Miami Dolphins (1-5) in an AFC East divisional game this Sunday. The matchup features several key storylines, including the return of the Patriots following a mini-bye and the Dolphins looking to build momentum after a recent win against the New York Jets.

Injuries are a significant factor for both teams. The Dolphins may be without rookie guard Kadyn Proctor due to a concussion, while the Patriots face uncertainty regarding wide receiver A. J. Brown, who is dealing with both an ankle and a knee issue.

On the field, attention will be on New England quarterback Drake Maye and his ability to exploit a Miami defense that ranks 30th in yards per pass attempt allowed. For Miami, quarterback Malik Willis, who previously played under Patriots coach Mike Vrabel in Tennessee, will lead an offense looking for more consistency. Key players for the Dolphins include running back Ollie Gordon II and rookie wide receiver Caleb Douglas.
