New England Patriots restructure Mack Hollins' contract
The New England Patriots have restructured the contract of veteran wide receiver Mack Hollins. The deal, which was made public following Hollins' 33rd birthday, adjusts the reception thresholds tied to his 2026 incentive bonuses. By raising the benchmarks for catch totals to 47, 50, and 55, the team shifts the salary cap impact of these payouts to 2027 without increasing guaranteed money.
Hollins opened the 2026 season with four receptions for 51 yards in a 13-10 loss to Seattle. The contract adjustment comes as the Patriots prepare to host the Pittsburgh Steelers at Gillette Stadium. The team is also managing the absence of star receiver A. J. Brown, who is expected to miss six weeks due to an injury sustained in the season opener.
