New England Revolution aim to extend surge against CF Montreal

New England Revolution head coach Marko Mitrovic said his side are beginning to assemble all the pieces after a 4‑1 victory over Atlanta United, leaving the club third in the Eastern Conference with a game in hand. "We showed in a good amount of the games certain things that kind of get together, and the team has a strong belief and confidence in certain things that we're doing," Mitrovic said, adding that the team must maintain consistency across full matches.

CF Montreal, sitting 13th in the conference, are seeking to end a six‑match winless streak and have failed to score in their last three games. The club hopes to improve after a recent 1‑0 loss to Inter Miami and may be without several players due to injuries. The teams last met at Saputo Stadium in 2023, when Montreal won 1‑0.

Both clubs enter the Saturday fixture with differing forms: the Revolution have conceded only once in their last two games and have been dominant away at Montreal, while Montreal have struggled to find the net and look to revive their season.
