The New England Revolution secured a 2-1 victory over New York City FC at Citi Field. Carles Gil opened the scoring for the Revolution with a penalty kick in the 12th minute. After New York City FC's Luighi Hanri Sousa Santos equalized in the 71st minute, Dániel Gazdag scored a stoppage-time goal in the third minute of the second half to clinch the win.
