New Entertainment Venues Open in Kawasaki and Nishinomiya, Japan

A karaoke snack bar called RiverSide Tani~ opened near Yomiuri‑Land Station in Kawasaki’s Tama Ward on July 4, 2026. The venue offers self‑service karaoke with a charge of ¥200 per song, drinks starting at ¥400 and a ¥600 cover fee. It is located beside the real‑estate firm Tōa Shōji’s office and is marketed as welcoming to first‑timers and solo patrons.

In Nishinomiya, Hyōgo Prefecture, the café and curry restaurant Strawberry Field reopened after a renovation on May 1, 2026 to mark its 10‑year anniversary. The venue added a stage for live performances and hosted a return party featuring singer‑songwriter Takada Shima. Drummers Kinu. and Gar also performed, and the café plans regular live events, including the upcoming MIYAON music festival on October 11, 2026.
