New entrepreneurship initiatives launched in Portugal and Brazil

In Portugal, Carina Meireles has launched the InRise Business Academy, a training and mentorship platform designed for female entrepreneurs. The academy features six founding mentors and offers practical lessons in areas such as finance, sales, communication, and personal branding. The platform includes tools like the InRise Diagnosis to identify business priorities, live sessions, and a monthly “InRise 360º” meeting. Subscription plans include Essential and PRO tiers, with introductory pricing available until November 1.

In Brazil, the Projeto MEGA (Movimento Empreendedorismo Gerando Alternativas) is launching a new training class in Balneário Camboriú. Starting November 11, the program offers free capacity building through eight in-person meetings and eight consultancies. The initiative aims to develop entrepreneurial skills and business structuring. Additionally, four participants will have the opportunity to receive R$ 2,000 each in seed capital to invest in their businesses. The project focuses on regional development through job and income generation.
