New evidence emerges in 2009 Claudia Bartolozzi death investigation

The family of Claudia Bartolozzi, a 33-year-old nurse who died in Macerata in 2009, is seeking to reopen the investigation into her death. While the case was originally closed as a suicide following the discovery of a farewell note, her parents, Basilio and Giuseppina Bartolozzi, have long contested this conclusion.

New handwritten documents, including various recipes, have been discovered in the basement of the home where Bartolozzi lived. Legal counsel for the family, Alessandro Caruso Frezza, stated that a handwriting expert will be commissioned to compare these documents with the note found at the scene of the incident. The family aims to prove that the original note was a forgery.
