New film releases include Practical Magic 2 and Oasis documentary

Several new films and a documentary are arriving in cinemas this week. Notable releases include ‘Practical Magic 2’, directed by Susanne Bier, which sees Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman reprise their roles as the Owens sisters 28 years after the original film. The sequel follows Sally and Gillian Owens as they confront a dark curse threatening their family.

Other upcoming releases include the Oasis reunion documentary and the Spanish comedy ‘Un plan perfecto’, starring Jordi Sánchez and Leo Harlem. The latter follows a family facing eviction who discover a tunnel in their basement designed for a bank robbery. Additionally, the dark comedy ‘Bad Apples’, starring Saoirse Ronan, follows a primary school teacher who kidnaps a rebellious student.
