New financial leadership appointed in Guayaquil and Salvador Alvarado

The Municipality of Guayaquil has appointed Priscila Mabell Amores Rodríguez as its new Financial Director, replacing Jorge Dillon Álvarez. Amores Rodríguez, who has previous experience in administrative and financial roles at the Universidad de las Artes and Circular EP, will oversee the management of municipal financial and tax resources, as well as budgetary planning.

In Salvador Alvarado, Xóchitl Guadalupe Valenzuela Rubio has been named the new municipal treasurer following a unanimous vote by the City Council. Valenzuela Rubio, who possesses over 30 years of experience in accounting and fiscal administration, has committed to addressing the municipality's current financial challenges through strategic planning and transparency.
