New gastronomic developments in Prague and Bratislava
Recent developments in the Central European hospitality sector include the opening of Bistro QUOQ in Prague and a strategic relaunch of Casa del Havana in Bratislava.
In Prague, Bistro QUOQ has opened near Náplavka on Vyšehradská Street. Designed by Plus One Architects, the 65-square-meter space features an industrial aesthetic utilizing raw concrete, stainless steel, and dark blue ceramic accents. The interior design focuses on acoustic comfort and a versatile atmosphere that transitions from a daytime cafe to an evening bar via neon lighting.
In Bratislava, Branislav Hažík has taken over the management of Casa del Havana. Aiming to revitalize the established venue, Hažík is focusing on consistent service quality and atmosphere rather than just rebranding. Drawing on his extensive experience in mixology and the HORECA segment through Bar Servis, he intends to build a stable clientele by emphasizing the overall guest experience.
