New German Editions of 'Heaven Official’s Blessing' and 'Lauter Leichen' Released
Tokyopop has issued the German hardcover of the first volume of Mo Xiang Tong Xiu’s popular danmei series “Heaven Official’s Blessing,” titled *Blumensuchender Blutregen*. The 456‑page book (ISBN 978‑3842091818) retells the story of Xie Lian, a former war god who repeatedly ascends to heaven, and introduces the mysterious San Lang. The series, which spans six volumes and has inspired manhua, donghua and an unreleased live‑action adaptation, is now available to German readers.
Ullstein has listed the crime novel *Lauter Leichen* by Elli Gint, the first entry in a new series featuring Elli Gint and her grandmother Frieda as amateur investigators. Set in Hamburg, the plot follows Elli as she discovers her ex‑boyfriend Peter shot dead in her mother’s villa, linking the murder to a weapon used in a decades‑old family tragedy. The paperback (416 pages, ISBN 978‑3548063065) is marketed as a thriller with a strong female duo.
Both releases expand the German market for genre fiction, offering readers new options in fantasy‑romance and contemporary crime.
