New Hampshire authorities release photo in 1982 cold case murder
The New Hampshire Cold Case Unit has released a previously unreleased photograph of Tammy Little in an effort to solve her 1982 murder. Little, who was 20 years old at the time, was a student at Portsmouth Beauty School.
She was last seen alive in the early hours of Saturday, October 16, 1982. Her body was discovered three days later, on October 19, inside her apartment at 315 Maplewood Avenue in Portsmouth. Investigators determined she had suffered severe head injuries and classified the death as a homicide.
Authorities are renewing their appeal for information, specifically targeting individuals who lived, worked, or studied in the Portsmouth area during October 1982. Investigators hope the new image will trigger a memory that leads to a resolution in the decades-old case.
