New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute to host 2026 budget conference

The New Hampshire Fiscal Policy Institute (NHFPI) will host its annual Budget and Policy Conference on December 4, 2026, in Concord. The event aims to bring together policymakers, researchers, advocates, and community leaders to discuss the fiscal and economic trends that will influence the state’s next two-year budget.

Scheduled at the Grappone Conference Center, the conference will feature a ‘State Budget 101’ overview of the budget process and timeline. Breakout sessions will focus on critical policy areas, including health care, K-12 public education, housing, child care, property taxes, and economic security. Gene Martin, Executive Director of the NHFPI, noted that the conference provides an opportunity to examine the fiscal landscape and explore policy approaches to the state’s most significant challenges.
