New Hampshire Senate race shifts as Bolduc endorses Pappas

The New Hampshire Senate race has seen significant shifts as Don Bolduc, a former Trump-backed candidate, endorsed Democrat Chris Pappas. This endorsement occurs in the contest for the seat being vacated by retiring Democratic Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Recent polling from the New York Times/Siena indicates Pappas holds a five-percentage-point lead over Republican candidate John Sununu.

In Nashua, local Democrats have criticized Sununu for his support of Donald Trump’s military actions regarding Iran, arguing that the conflict is increasing costs for New Hampshire residents regarding gasoline, groceries, and heating oil. Critics also noted Sununu’s past vote to authorize military force during the Iraq War, drawing parallels to his current political alignment.
