New Haven Flea hosts Sidelot Vintage Market Series

The Sidelot Vintage Market Series, a monthly pop-up event held on Hamilton Street, features a variety of homewares, clothing, art, and ephemera. Organized by Lauren Mallet, owner of New Haven Flea, the market was established in April to provide a regular venue for vintage and artistic vendors, particularly those unable to afford permanent commercial spaces.

Recent offerings at the market included political items such as olive oil soaps from Nablus, Palestine, and embroidered caps from Stitch4Pali, a Palestinian, Mexican, and Black-owned embroidery studio. Other featured items included linocut prints by artist Emily Birdie and vintage fashion accessories.
