Italy expands healthcare and public housing infrastructure
Various regional healthcare and residential developments are being inaugurated across Italy. In Parma, a new community hospital (Osco) on via XXIV Maggio is set to open, providing 24-hour assistance with 20 beds. The project, costing 3.8 million euros with significant funding from the PNRR, aims to support elderly and chronic patients during the transition between hospital and home care.
In Ancona, WeFocus Med has opened as a multidisciplinary health hub. This facility integrates medical services, rehabilitation, and wellness, utilizing digital tools and regional funding to provide personalized care paths.
Additionally, in Casteldelbosco, a former medical clinic has been repurposed into public residential housing (ERP). Following a renovation costing over 360,000 euros funded by European and regional funds, the building now provides a modern housing unit featuring updated heating, windows, and common areas.
