New Holland wins EIMA innovation awards and marks 120 years in Belgium
New Holland has received three EIMA 2026 Technical Innovation and Evolution Awards for its recent advancements in agricultural machinery. The recognized technologies include the T4F eSource Mild Hybrid System, which utilizes an Intelligent Power Flow Management System to coordinate energy between specialty tractors and implements, potentially offering up to 52% fuel savings. Additionally, the BigBaler Enhanced Baler Productivity system uses AI-driven controls to optimize crop flow, and the Combine Smart Traction Control manages torque to reduce soil damage and fuel consumption.
In conjunction with these technological milestones, the company is marking the 120th anniversary of its Zedelgem Global Centre of Harvesting Excellence in Belgium. The facility, which originated from an engineering business founded in 1906, serves as a strategic hub for the design, testing, and production of combine harvesters, forage harvesters, and balers. The site employs approximately 3,000 people and exports harvesting equipment to roughly 130 countries.
