New Indian dining establishments open in Füssen and Munich

Two new Indian dining venues have opened in Germany, offering different culinary approaches.

In Füssen, the Royal India restaurant opened in early October on Kemptener Straße. Owned and operated by chef Kirpal Singh, the establishment features a traditional Tandoori oven for preparing naan bread and meat specialties. Singh, who has worked internationally in Dubai and Dresden, offers a menu including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, with spice levels adjustable to customer preference.

In Munich, THE INDIAN ROOM has launched in the Schwabing district. This venue focuses on a fine-dining experience, aiming to present Indian cuisine through a modern, elegant lens. The restaurant emphasizes a sophisticated atmosphere and a layered approach to spices, moving beyond traditional curry profiles to highlight a wide range of aromatic, smoky, and floral notes.
