New iPad keyboard cases launched with QWERTZ layouts

New keyboard cases designed for Apple iPad models are being introduced to enhance productivity and protection.

Decoded has released magnetic keyboard cases for the iPad Air and iPad Pro, including the iPad 11 Air, iPad 11 Pro, and iPad 13 Pro. These cases feature a detachable keyboard with an integrated multi-touch trackpad and a German QWERTZ layout. The design supports both landscape and portrait orientations and includes a backlit keyboard with four brightness levels. The battery life is reported to last up to 800 hours without backlight and up to eight hours at full brightness, charging via USB-C.

Urban Armor Gear (UAG) is also offering rugged keyboard cases featuring a wired USB-C connection to eliminate Bluetooth pairing and separate charging. These cases are built to MIL-STD drop-test standards, protecting devices from falls of up to 2 meters. They include a splash-proof keyboard, a multi-touch trackpad, and an integrated USB-C hub capable of charging the iPad at up to 30 watts while providing ports for USB-A and 3.5mm audio. Both product lines are available with German QWERTZ layouts.
