New Italian restaurant Agostino to open in Copenhagen

The culinary scene in Denmark sees new developments in both Copenhagen and Aalborg. In Copenhagen, the team behind the award-winning pizza restaurant MaMeMi is opening a new Italian eatery called Agostino on Vesterbrogade. Moving focus from Roman-style pizza to fresh pasta and traditional Roman cuisine, the restaurant will feature an open pasta kitchen where guests can observe the preparation process.

Agostino aims to provide a complete Roman dining experience, including antipasti, fritti, secondi, and desserts. The menu will utilize specialized dough recipes tailored to specific pasta shapes, drawing on the culinary expertise of founders Francesco, Danilo, and Daniel.

Meanwhile, in Aalborg, Pappa’s Pizza and Grill is celebrating its 12th anniversary. Owners Mehmet Yapici and Ergin Ceran are marking the milestone by offering discounted pizzas for a limited period in mid-September. The establishment, which has served the Aalborg Øst area for over a decade, will offer all pizzas for 69 DKK from September 14 to September 17.
