New Jersey cultural events scheduled for November 6–8

Various cultural, scientific, and outdoor activities are scheduled across New Jersey for the weekend of November 6–8, 2026.

In Red Bank, Phoenix Productions will stage the musical “Parade” at the Count Basie Center for the Arts, depicting the true story of Leo Frank. The Basie Center will also host “UPDATING,” a live dating show featuring blindfolded singles.

Other notable events include:

• The Shanghai Ballet performing “The Butterfly Lovers” at the State Theatre New Jersey in New Brunswick. • The New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark hosting “Undertale: The Determination Symphony” and jazz performances by the Dizzy Gillespie All-Stars. • Planetarium shows at the New Jersey State Museum in Trenton. • Apple cider pressing demonstrations at the Great Swamp Outdoor Education Center in Chatham Township. • Historic site tours in Monmouth County featuring a blacksmith forge and a working gristmill.
