New Jersey Devils appoint Leo Luongo as Head of Goaltending Excellence

The New Jersey Devils have appointed Leo Luongo as the new Head of Goaltending Excellence. Luongo joins the organization following a successful tenure with the Florida Panthers, where he contributed to their Stanley Cup championship. His professional background includes extensive coaching experience in the QMJHL, the AHL, and in Switzerland with HC Lugano.

In addition to Luongo's appointment, reports indicate the Devils have previously shown interest in KHL goaltender Alexander Smolin. The team continues to manage its goaltending roster and evaluate potential international talent as they prepare for upcoming seasons.
