New Jersey restaurants receive national culinary recognition

New Jersey dining establishments have received notable recognition for their culinary offerings. Two local pizzerias, Brooklyn Square and Bucky's Pizza in Chatham, were ranked among the best pizza shops in the United States by USA Today. Brooklyn Square is recognized for its massive square pies, while Bucky's Pizza is noted for its unique fermented sourdough crust.

Additionally, Central Jersey features several highly-rated Italian restaurants. Luca’s Ristorante in Somerset, led by Chef Andrea Di Meglio, offers authentic Ischian cuisine with scratch-made pastas and signature dishes such as the 'Luca' linguine and a 50-layer lasagna. Catherine Lombardi in New Brunswick is also highlighted as a top destination for authentic Italian dining in the region.
