New Jersey State Police release most wanted fugitives list

The New Jersey State Police have released descriptions and photos of 14 fugitives currently on their most wanted list. The suspects include several individuals from the South Jersey region.

Among the fugitives is Kurt Young of Dennis Township, a former New Jersey corrections officer. Young is wanted for charges related to paying for sex with a trafficked minor. His co-defendants, Derek V. Ross and Tiffany N. Davis, were convicted in 2023 for their roles in the incident.

Also listed is John Schlump of Woodbine. Authorities allege that in 2005, Schlump booby-trapped his cabin and assaulted his wife. Although a New Jersey court has declared Schlump deceased, he remains on the state police fugitive list.
