New Jersey weather forecast: Sunny skies and chilly mornings expected
New Jersey is expected to experience tranquil and seasonable weather through the remainder of October. Friday will serve as a cooldown day with highs remaining in the 50s across much of the state, accompanied by light breezes and sunshine.
The weekend forecast includes sunny skies and dry conditions. However, widespread frost or freezing temperatures are possible during Saturday and Sunday mornings in many inland areas, before temperatures rise into the 60s later in the day.
A coastal flood advisory remains in effect for Ocean County through midnight Friday. High tide cycles may reach a few inches above flood stage, potentially causing minor spotty flooding near the Jersey Shore. Significant rainfall is not expected until after Halloween.
