New kindergartens open in Dekanovec and Križ

New preschool facilities have been inaugurated in the Croatian municipalities of Dekanovec and Križ, marking significant local investments in early childhood education.

In Dekanovec, a new 260-square-meter kindergarten has opened with a total project value exceeding one million euros. The facility is designed to accommodate 32 children in nursery and kindergarten groups. Funding was provided through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, various ministries, the municipal budget, and a 50,000 euro contribution from Međimurje County.

In Križ, a modern facility for the Križić-kružić Kindergarten has opened with a value of over 3.2 million euros. This facility can accommodate 80 children across four daily stays. The center features advanced digital equipment and a unique interactive playground that uses sensors to promote motor skills and coordination. The project received 70,000 euros in support from Zagreb County.
