Brazilian authors launch new literary works across various regions

Several Brazilian authors are launching new literary works across various regions.

Bárbara Duarte is presenting her first book published by Editora Patuá, titled ‘Debaixo da roseira enterrei seu umbigo’, at the São Paulo International Book Biennial. The collection of 20 short stories explores female experiences, including themes of motherhood, trauma, and resistance.

In Teresina, Ayrton de Souza is releasing ‘Para sempre madrugada’ through Editora Geleia Total. The book features ten horror stories that blend the daily life of Teresina with fantastic and supernatural elements to address social issues like mental health and violence.

Other recent releases include Maria Eugênia Camargo’s ‘Ponto de Encontro: Conversas que curam’, which focuses on healthy relationships and dialogue, and Júlio Cesar Rodrigues’s ‘Leia se (não) estiver ocupado’, a collection of chronicles regarding modern anxiety and the pace of daily life. Additionally, Lilian Bertin is launching ‘Envelhecer, sim. Velha, NOLT!’ in São Paulo, a work aimed at challenging ageist stereotypes and discussing female maturity.
