New Mexico sues Epstein's lawyer and accountant

New Mexico Attorney General Raúl Torrez has filed a civil lawsuit against Darren Indyke, Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime attorney, and Richard Kahn, his accountant. The lawsuit accuses both men of facilitating, financing, and concealing Epstein’s sex trafficking operation, specifically citing abuses that occurred at his Zorro Ranch near Santa Fe.

Indyke and Kahn serve as co-executors of Epstein’s estate and manage a private trust valued at over $100 million. The legal action seeks to block them from receiving substantial bequests from the estate—estimated at $50 million for Indyke and $25 million for Kahn—arguing that these funds should instead be used to compensate survivors of Epstein’s crimes.

The defendants have previously testified before Congress that they had no knowledge of Epstein’s sexual abuse. Their attorneys have emphatically rejected the allegations, calling the lawsuit baseless and noting that the crimes allegedly took place in private settings where neither man was present. The lawsuit follows the reopening of a state investigation into activities at Zorro Ranch earlier this year.
