New modern Asian dining establishments open in Singapore

Singapore's fine dining and brunch scenes have seen the introduction of two new modern Asian concepts in the Carpenter Street area.

ASIN, led by Chef Ace Tan, focuses on the Chinese tradition of shí liáo (food as nourishment and balance). The restaurant features an intimate 22-seat setting and has launched an Autumn 2026 menu that integrates East Asian harvests with Southeast Asian spices.

Kee’s Restaurant & Bar, located within the 21 Carpenter boutique hotel, offers a modern Asian brunch menu. Under Head Chef Sujatha Asokan, the menu incorporates Chinese-Indian heritage into classic dishes, such as a Heritage Chicken Curry Shakshuka and Bubur Cha Cha French Toast.
