New Moon occurs on October 10

A new moon occurred on October 10 at 17:50 Slovenian time. During this phase, the Moon is positioned between the Earth and the Sun, making its unlit side face Earth and rendering it practically invisible. This phase results in darker night skies, which provides favorable conditions for stargazing in areas away from city lights.

Following this new moon, the Moon will gradually reappear as a thin crescent, with the first quarter phase expected on October 18. The next full moon, traditionally known as the Hunter's Moon, is scheduled for October 26 at 05:11.

Astrologically, this new moon takes place in Libra, a sign associated with relationships, harmony, and balance. The period is further characterized by a retrograde Venus, which astrologers suggest may prompt reflection on past interpersonal matters and unresolved questions regarding love.
