New movie releases arriving on streaming services this week

Several new film titles are scheduled for release across various streaming and digital platforms for the week of October 27 to November 2.

Netflix will premiere ‘SCTV: The Greatest Show You’ve Never Heard Of’, a documentary featuring interviews with members of the influential Canadian comedy troupe. Additionally, ‘Minions & Monsters’ is set to debut, exploring the Minions' history in early Hollywood during the transition from silent to sound cinema.

On digital platforms, Ridley Scott’s post-apocalyptic action-thriller ‘The Dog Stars’, based on the novel by Peter Heller, is available for premium video on demand. The film follows a survivor in a near-future ravaged by a pandemic. Other notable releases include an action-thriller starring John Travolta on Hulu and a family film on Peacock.
