Cesare Cremonini announces new album ‘Amateur’ and arena tour

Italian singer Cesare Cremonini has announced his tenth studio album, titled ‘Amateur’, scheduled for release on October 23. The project marks a new artistic phase and was recorded at Studio 13 in London, a facility founded by Damon Albarn. Cremonini emphasized that the album was written, performed, and recorded without the use of artificial intelligence.

The album features contributions from renowned saxophonist Donny McCaslin. To support the release, Cremonini will embark on the ‘Amatour’ arena tour starting November 27, with scheduled dates in Bologna (Unipol Arena), Turin (Inalpi Arena), and Milan (Unipol Forum).

In conjunction with these announcements, Rai 1 is broadcasting a television special titled ‘Roma, Baby. Cremonini Live al Circo Massimo’. The program captures his large-scale concert held in Rome this past June, featuring guest appearances by artists such as Jovanotti, Elisa, and Luca Carboni.
