New musical performance cycles launch in Córdoba and Valencia

New musical performance cycles have launched in Córdoba, Argentina, and Valencia, Spain, aimed at promoting independent and international music scenes.

In Córdoba, the Centro Cultural España Córdoba has initiated ‘El Aljibe – Extracciones Sonoras SubMediterráneas’. This cycle seeks to document and showcase the contemporary local music scene through live performances, interviews, and graphic and sound recordings. The program features various artists, including the band Irmanas, and will continue through October.

In Valencia, the ‘Etcétera Sessions’ has returned as a monthly concert series held at the Auditorio de la Unió de Tres Forques. The cycle features diverse international genres, beginning with a performance by Dúo Samã, consisting of pianist Albert Sanz and British vocalist/cellist Sara Dowling. The events are held once a month with a voluntary contribution system.
