New oil painting exhibitions opening in Spain

Two new oil painting exhibitions are opening in Spain. Artist Guillermo Bujedo is presenting a collection of invented landscapes at the Kadon exhibition hall starting September 24. His work is inspired by music, such as David Bowie’s ‘Space Oddity’, as well as travel and literature.

Additionally, painter Aby Sánchez is debuting her collection ‘Algo de mí’ at the Can Jordi Blues Station exhibition space on September 25. The exhibition features three distinct series: ‘Iconos’, which includes portraits of musicians like John Coltrane and Amy Winehouse; ‘Almas’, focusing on anonymous portraits; and ‘Sabores’, a contemporary take on still life. The show will run until October 19.
