New Orleans man arrested after armed drive-thru confrontation

Delton Montrell Hunter has been arrested and faces a felony charge following an armed confrontation at a fast-food restaurant in Algiers, Louisiana. The incident occurred around 11:44 p.m. on Friday, October 9, in the 4300 block of General De Gaulle Drive.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, Hunter approached the drive-thru window on foot to place an order. Employees informed him that company policy prohibits serving pedestrians through the drive-thru.
