New Orleans Pelicans waive Kobe Bufkin and Jalon Moore

The New Orleans Pelicans have waived Kobe Bufkin and Jalon Moore to meet the regular season roster limit.

Bufkin, a 23-year-old guard and former Los Angeles Lakers player, was on a training camp deal with the Pelicans. He has appeared in 43 total NBA games over three seasons. Jalon Moore, a 6’7″ forward, was on an Exhibit 10 deal following a torn Achilles injury prior to the 2025 draft.

With these moves, the Pelicans have 14 players with fully guaranteed contracts and one partially guaranteed deal held by Trendon Watford. All three two-way slots on the roster are currently filled.
