New Pharmacy Unit Opens in Čilipi, Dubrovnik-Neretva County

A new pharmacy branch of Ljekarna Dubrovnik was inaugurated in the village of Čilipi, Dubrovnik‑Neretva County, Croatia. The ceremony was attended by county prefect Blaž Pezo, Konavle mayor Božo Lasić, pharmacy director Marina Svilokos and other officials.

The facility at Beroje 75/A occupies 129 m², operates Monday‑Friday 07:00‑20:00 and Saturday 07:30‑14:00, and initially employs two pharmacists, one pharmacy technician and a dispenser, with plans to hire an additional technician. The pharmacy was built under a ten‑year lease and funded with about €95 000 of the pharmacy’s own capital. Local authorities highlighted the opening as a step toward more equitable access to pharmaceutical services for residents, especially seniors, chronic‑ill patients, families and tourists in the Konavle region.
