New Premium Pool Robots Dolphin EON 120d and Mammotion Spino E1 Reviewed

The Dolphin EON 120d is positioned as a high‑end, wireless pool‑cleaning robot. Weighing 11 kg, it features a 9 600 mAh lithium‑ion battery that can run up to 4.5 hours, multiple cleaning modes (UltraRun, floor‑only, water‑line, full coverage) and a proprietary DebrisLock filter designed to capture fine particles and prevent debris from re‑entering the water when the unit is lifted.

The Mammotion Spino E1 targets a more affordable market segment at €499. At about 10 kg, it uses three motors to deliver a flow rate of 5 800 GPH (≈22 m³/h) and can clean pools up to 3 m deep. It includes a 180‑micron filter, four cleaning programs (floor, walls, combined, and a timed 50‑minute cycle) and an optional mobile app for firmware updates, session history and advanced settings. Both robots are cordless, use rechargeable batteries, and claim adaptability to various pool shapes and surfaces.
