New preschools inaugurated in San Leonardo in Treponzio and Toano

New preschool facilities have been inaugurated in the Italian communities of San Leonardo in Treponzio and Toano, marking significant local investments in educational infrastructure.

In San Leonardo in Treponzio, within the Capannori municipality, a new nursery school has opened to replace a decommissioned facility. The new building features classrooms for 25 students each, a canteen, a gym, and innovative spatial designs intended to connect classrooms with outdoor areas. Mayor Luca Del Chiaro noted that this is part of a broader plan to renew school buildings across the municipality.

In Toano, Reggio Emilia, a new preschool was inaugurated following a 2.2 million euro investment funded through the PNRR (National Recovery and Resilience Plan). The school has been named after Teresita Ester Guiducci, who served as the mayor of Toano from 1985 to 1990. Mayor Leonardo Perugi emphasized the importance of the facility for local families and the community.
