New professional services ventures launch in Australia

Two new professional services ventures have launched in Australia, focusing on specialized technology and integrated advisory models.

Atto, a Sydney-based legal technology startup, has launched with a focus on practice-specific software. Founded by property and commercial lawyer Roy Kim, the company aims to automate repetitive legal tasks, such as medical chronologies, rather than offering broad, all-in-one platforms. The founding team includes former professionals from Mallesons, Wotton Kearney, and Actionstep, alongside marketing expertise from former TikTok staff.

In the corporate communications sector, Christian Sealey has launched Alleato, an integrated advisory firm. Following his departure from Sodali, Sealey established the new agency to provide a comprehensive suite of services, including shareholder engagement, strategic communications, research, and creative branding. The firm, backed by private investors, seeks to offer a more integrated approach to reputation management and strategic decision-making for business leaders.
