New ramen ventures launch in Matsudo and Hiroshima, Japan

A new ramen shop, the Genzo Yakiniku Center Urutora Shop, opened on June 26 in Matsudo City, Chiba Prefecture. Operated by INGS, the outlet replaces the former Ramen Hayashida shop and focuses on pork‑based chuka soba with a generous portion of roasted pork.

In Hiroshima, the department store Fukuyama introduced two ramen products—"Tako Dashi Tonkotsu" and "Olive Sumishio"—on June 3. Developed in cooperation with local manufacturers, customers, and a high‑school team, the noodles incorporate koji for added flavor and are sold in stores and online for 972 yen per two‑portion pack.
