New Relic launches Infrastructure 360 for AI workload observability

New Relic has launched Infrastructure 360, an observability solution designed to provide platform engineering, infrastructure, and operations teams with end-to-end visibility into cloud resources, dependencies, and configuration changes. The tool is specifically aimed at supporting the scaling of artificial intelligence (AI) workloads, which often increase infrastructure complexity and the risk of configuration drift.

Infrastructure 360 addresses fragmentation by consolidating infrastructure, applications, and logs into a single database. The platform automatically discovers resources across Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure accounts without requiring an agent. It is designed to identify gaps in monitoring coverage and map dependencies across networks, Kubernetes clusters, and load balancers.

By tracking configuration changes in real time, the solution aims to reduce incident response times. New Relic notes that approximately half of major production outages are caused by untracked infrastructure changes, a risk that is heightened as AI-driven workloads scale rapidly.
